Before your tattoo: preparing your idea
You do not need a finished design to begin. Four useful decisions help explain your project and ask for a meaningful assessment.

Start with what you want to express
A face, your dog, a scene or a change to an existing tattoo: tell me what you want to represent and what matters most. An open idea is welcome. References help explain the direction, rather than copy someone else’s tattoo.

Exact placement and approximate size
“Arm” or “leg” leaves many possibilities. Say inner forearm, shoulder or calf, for example, and give an approximate measurement in centimetres. It need not be final: it helps assess detail, proportion and how the piece fits the body’s movement.
Colour, black and grey, or undecided
If you are unsure, say so. It also helps to know whether this is a standalone piece or the beginning of a sleeve or larger project. For a cover-up, I need to see the existing tattoo before discussing options; not every case has the same solution.
Send what you already have
A photo of the area, a few references and your questions are enough to start. You do not need to complete every form option. We can talk through Chat online or Share my idea.
